Amersham Livery Stables was founded in the belief that every horse and its owner should have access to good quality grazing, facilities and services.

Established in 1990 Amersham Livery provides a flexible and cost effective equine livery service for the majority of requirements and budgets.  In 2002 the yard became a member of the British Horse Society Approved Establishment scheme in order to assure present and future customers of its continuing commitment to provide a good quality service.

The yard employs experienced and caring staff who can offer flexible service arrangements however, horse owners chosen instructors are welcome.   All fodder and bedding products are delivered weekly from an independent supplier which allows horse owners freedom of choice.

Grazing is available throughout the year, and horses can stay out for 24 hours during the Summer months if required, although a stable must always be retained  on the yard.   There is an interval worming programme which is strictly adhered to every 7 weeks.   New horses on first arrival are given a dual wormer before being turned out.   The pasture is fully maintained and supervised with daily checks being carried out in post & rail and electrically fenced fields where mares and geldings are grazed separately.

The yard is a venue for Amersham Shows
which offers a good variety of competition for the beginner and more advanced horse and rider, the competitions are held during the Summer months.

There is a modern heated waiting room with a kitchen for coffee making facilities  and toilet.   The strong room (tack room) is fully alarmed with bars and a security door, there are also entrance alarms and new automated security entrance gates.   Lorry/trailer parking is available to horse owners at the yard free of charge.
